Description
This piece was originally commissioned by the “Choeur de la Basilique” in Lausanne, Switzerland, to be sung during the offertory of the Assumption mass. While designed to be performed in a liturgical setting, it wouldn’t be out of place in a concert. The piece won’t be very challenging for choirs who are used to sing contemporary polyphonic music. It is also a great first contemporary piece for choirs who haven’t explored this repertory yet!
Duration: 3 minutes (perfect for an offertory!)
Difficulty: medium-high (good amateur and professional choirs)
Language: Latin
